Reminiscing back, oh lets say starting about 27 years ago; I was busy this time of year applying for scholarships.  From mid-November thru mid-January seemed like I had the most time to do this as I was home on the Holiday breaks.  So I’m cordially asking you to remind your constituents to be like “Les” and start the process early. Our NASCOE scholarship application is easy and National Chair, our own Wisconsinite Tom Oasen, is trying to get the form on-line more user-friendly. The application has changed over the past couple of years and is now less invasive.  All financial information has been deleted, so the scholarship is 100% merit based. Remember the deadline to get the application to me is March 1, 2009.  I’ll make it easy on you – Just submit the original application, don’t worry about making the 5 copies. (This saves on your postage!)

Don’t forget to advertise the Members Only Scholarship as well. This needs to be to me by

January 15, 2009.  Again, all I need is the original.
